Kulvinder Kaur Dhew works exclusively with charcoal on paper. Her images are distilled into a vibrant range of white, grey and black. Dhew’s self imposed limitations force her to focus and translate the primal forces in nature. She explores the turbulent and changing nature of the environment contained within the landscape. Sky touching ground; winds swirling, destructing and then reorganizing. Dhew touches the essence of environmental elements that merge into the atmosphere we inhabit.
